VAPEZ UK is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is unlawful to sell nicotine vaping products to under-18s in the UK.
Verification process
A robust age-verification provider and appropriate checks must be implemented and tested before any age-restricted sale is enabled. An age gate or tick box alone must not be represented as completed identity verification.
Verification at delivery
Additional proof of age may be required at handover depending on the delivery arrangements and applicable requirements.
Privacy
Age verification must use proportionate personal information and appropriate security safeguards. Provider identity, retention and sharing arrangements must be described in the privacy notice before operation.
Refusal of service
Supply will be refused where age cannot be established or where there is a reasonable concern about unlawful onward supply to a minor.
